Lill Tibben's Beatrice Special Jane In memory of Nelly
1992-01-06 2006-07-10
We got to have our beloved Nelly with us for forteen years and six months. I feel an
endless grief when I first think of that cold winter night I helped her to this world, and then on that day I held my hand on her heart as it slowly stopped beating. We got a beautilful last day together my Nelly and I. She was so tired and weak, so I sat with her on the front porch (nästan altan iallafall :P) and sang her lullabys. I even got a chanse to tell her that it was her time to go, and thank her for everything.
But she had a hard time letting go our Nelly. Finally she drew her last breath on Johans chest, and it felt like my heart was going to burst!
Nelly was our nurse! She licked and licked, on everything and eveybody! She licked us, puppies, the other dogs and even visitors! Sometimes we had to apologize for her enormously caring heart, but during the last days of her life we prayed for her to show the affection she used to..
"Please kiss me.."
Nelly got four litters and we have one of her daughters, Minna, and even her grandchildren Elektra and Gulli at home. It's so sad that she don't get to see her grand grandchildren get born in two weeks! Elektra would have a lot to learn from grandma Nelly, because she LOVED puppies! When Minna got her last litter last year Nelly even produced milk and completely took over the mothering of the little ones when they were big enough to walk around. That was what our beloved Nelly was like! Caring, loving and the one in charge at home.
There will always be an empty space that no one ever will be able to fill. Nelly will get her final rest here at home in the garden, underneath a brier. So now we can sit on the front porch and look at the roses and remember those wonderful days we had together, our Nelly and us.
Thank you for everything! Lill Tibben's Beatrice special jane, "Nelly" We love you! and miss you! Endlessly!

Zibban's Just mr Chips
Chip was Pamélas first Tibetan spaniel! She will never forget that day when she got to Stockholm to look at that wondeful litter! There was four of them, but it was decided that it was a boy to be called "Chip" she would bring with her home.
Liselotte patiently answered all of Pamélas questions, they browsed old magazines and finally Paméla fell asleep on a mattress on the floor, filled with love to a special little puppy and with even more questions and impressions than before!
The next day she flew home to Mölndal with her little sweetheart, and when his siblings got names as Janice Joplin and Josefine barker our baby got the name Just Mr Chips!
The life with Chip was filled with love! On his first birthday we arranged a birthday party, and wearing a bow-tie Chip proudly greeted the family, presents and he happily ate his cake! Maybe it should be said that there were no two-legged grandchildren in the family at this time..
When Prince came to the family Chip took care of him, and during the years to come he always protected our little puppies! Paméla got to learn a lot through Chip, they went to courses and later on she went to a breeder-seminary and her interest for breeding increased.
Chip entered as the first dog of my "trio" and he died last. His life ended at the proud age of 15.5 years. During the last years he got senile and he just walked around and around in the same course through the kitchen and livingroom.
Sometimes he happened to look at Paméla, then he lifted his leg, peed, waved his tail and went to sleep. The fact that it was the livingroom table he had lifted hid leg at and the livingroom carpet he had peed on, was he happily unaware of!
If it had not been for all the love little Chip gave, no Lill Tibbar would be spreading love around them in Sweden, Norway and Finland today!
So from the bottom of my heart;
Thank you my beloved little Chippen!

SUCh Zollis Ci-g-ward "Prince"
Prince was our second dog and a really determined man!! Whatever he wanted to do, he did!
If Paméla put him in the exercise yard for a while, he either dug his way out or climbed over the fence, because he did not want to be in there, and when you looked outside he sat on the front porch exactly where he always wanted to be!
Even at the age of ten he climbed over woodpiles to get to the roof so that he could jump down! 1.80 meters did not scare him even if he had sprained his leg several times already! So eventually he got what he wanted, to sit at the front porch, because you can't have old men jumping of roofs!
But thunder did scare him, oh how afraid he was of it, of that and trimming his claws!!
But we loved our Prince, to the extend that on the day that the tumor on his liver made him let go of life on the sofa at home, he had the whole family around him. We thought that we never would be complete again!
But he is here with us, though it was many years ago he died, at the 20'th of July in 1998!
A picture of him stands in the window-sill in the kitchen, so when you do the dishes you see him and think that he is out there in the free and doing whatever he wants, just as he wanted!
But the wounds never seem to heal and the feeling of loss don't disappear! You learn to live with them!
But he is worth our rememberance.. Our beloved, beloved Prince!!

Zibbans CharmTroll "Trollet"
Trollet was our third Tibetan spaniel and the founder of the whole Lill Tibben's kennel!!
It was this black little miss who as soon as she became a part of the family showed Chip and Prince that NOW I AM THE ONE IN CHARGE!! And she were ever since!
Trollet loved puppies, she loved to be a mum so that she could care for the little ones. Even when she after her own four litters were to retire, she decided against it and cared for every puppy in the house anyway! She could be sitting for hours on end with her grandchildren and later on grand grandchildren and letting them bite and play with her, when their own mothers rather sat at Trollets place in the sofa!
She just sat there and from time to time you could hear a low growling, but just a soon it was over she were licking and caring again!
She got to do much in her life, even meet Tomas Ravelli!
It was an bad uterine disease that took her life at home at the 26'th of May in 2000, and "Trollmor" as she was called by the families to her puppies, will always be missed! Today we can look at her childern, grandchildren, grand grandchildren and even grand grand grandchildern and see resemblance with her and all the "talking and nagging" she used to do. We will miss her, and a more communicating Tibbe will probably never walk this earth again!
